Summer Art Camp at Texas Trails Alpacas

Early Bird Enrollment Discount of 10% if received by 5/15/16.

 

“Mom, I’m so bored!” Don’t let this be heard around your house! Make reservations now for Summer Art Camp at Texas Trails Alpacas. Research shows art will make your child a better thinker. Students will explore painting with acrylics and watercolor, drawing with pencil and Prisma, sculpture, fiber arts including weaving and felting. Not to mention, we will spend some time feeding the alpacas and goats.

Space limited for small classes, ages 8-13. Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m-noon. All supplies included. $150/session. Registration requires a $50 deposit to hold your spot.There is a 10% discount for siblings or multiple sessions. Email txtalpacas@gmail.com for Application and instructions.

Alpaca Adventure!-TBD (ages 4-16)  Mixed ages (4-16) This is a one day class to learn about alpacas and
llamas and have hands on experience with the animals. Students are given
a bag of food and hear facts about the South American animals and what
they are used for at our farm. After interaction with the animals,
students will be invited to the classroom to learn to use wool to felt a
bar of soap. (1 day $25, all supplies/animal feed included)


Art After School Mixed Ages (5-14) Learning the language of lines with
an introduction to drawing and painting. Program designed to aid in
development of student’s confidence and understanding of mediums.
Students will experience using Prisma marker, watercolor, acrylic,
pastel, and color pencil. Students complete a project each week. (6
weeks $110, $20 supply fee)


Homeschool Schedule


Art 101- Mixed Ages (5-14) Learning the language of lines with an introduction to drawing and painting. Program designed to aid in development of student’s confidence and understanding of mediums. Students will experience using Prisma marker, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and color pencil. Students complete a project each week. (6 weeks $100, $20 supply fee)

Sew Much Fun 101- Mixed ages (7-14) Basic use of an electric sewing machine, how to thread the machine, basic sewing tools. Students will learn how to use a pattern, cut fabric and basic appliqué. Students will complete a pillow, a set of beanbags and a small bag. (6 weeks,  $150, $25 supply fee to cover thread and some fabric. Student will bring fabric for their final project.)
